ACPE has seen some meaningful changes to our team these past few months — new faces joining us and a beloved colleague moving on. Here's a look at what's new:

Welcome: Jim Leimbach, Finance Manager

Jim_LeimbachWe are pleased to welcome Jim Leimbach as ACPE's new Finance Manager. Based in the Atlanta area, Jim brings more than ten years of nonprofit accounting experience to the role, having previously worked with the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, Hemophilia of Georgia, and United Way of Greater Atlanta. Jim’s CPA background includes time as an auditor with Arthur Andersen, as well as accounting roles spanning Fortune 500 companies, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Jim has also taught accounting courses at Georgia State University.

Since joining in mid-February, Jim has been focused on reviewing 2025 financial transactions in preparation for the annual audit, supporting the ongoing iMIS implementation (with a projected go-live of mid-to-late June), and learning ACPE's monthly close processes and accounting systems. We are glad to have Jim’s expertise on board as we work toward more efficient financial operations. Learn more about Jim here.

Welcome: Stephanie Deal, Director of Operations

SBD Headshot copyWe are also thrilled to welcome Stephanie Deal as ACPE's new Director of Operations. A native Atlantan currently living in Lawrenceville, GA, Stephanie brings a rich, varied background spanning Fortune 500 manufacturing, real estate, senior living, and a boutique intellectual property law firm. In her role, Stephanie oversees Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and IT.

Since joining in early March, Stephanie has hit the ground running — strengthening staff engagement, leading talent acquisition efforts, and partnering with colleagues on change management, including the iMIS implementation. Her passion for building people-centered cultures and efficient organizational systems is already making an impact across the team.

We are excited about the energy and expertise both Jim and Stephanie bring to ACPE, and we look forward to all that we will accomplish together! Learn more about Stephanie here.
