Gratitude

As I consider the work of the Foundation over the past year, I find myself grateful for the ways the Foundation has become even more intentional about how we are using the resources provided by our generous donors. From socially responsible investing to financial support for summer CPE students, our funding initiatives and investments align with our values.

Below are a couple of highlights:

• We raised over $10,000 for giving Tuesday to support the Chris Brown CEC Ignite Grant. Details about applying for this grant as well as other grants will be out very soon.

• The Foundation board has three new members, LaVera Crawley, Csaba Szilagyi and Samuel J. Yenn-Batah, who will serve as Secretary/Treasurer. We are excited to welcome these colleagues who bring rich diversity of perspective, experience, and gifts to the board. We look forward to the wonderful things that will come from these partnerships.

  It’s a new year full of new possibilities and potential for greater.

  Thank you to all of you who donated throughout 2023 including those who shared year-end gifts. In 2024, we would love to see a higher percentage of our membership as donors.
