I Am
I am genderless
And you asked me
What I want to be called.
You saw me.
To others I am homeless
Yet you honored the fact
That the world is my home.
I am a psychic
And you accepted my talents,
Encouraging me to talk
To my grandmother.
I am shocking to most
Yet you were not shocked.
You witnessed my uniqueness
And gave me license to be me.
I am pagan
And you sought to understand
How that comforts me
And serves me.
And you explored them with me.
You helped me see a little more
That I matter in this world.
