Director of Spiritual Care & CPE Education

The Role & Vision: In this newly elevated Director-level position, you will consolidate CPE Education and General Chaplaincy Operations under a single executive vision:

• Unify & Lead: Bring CPE Education and Chaplaincy into one cohesive, high-impact department.
• Modernize Workflows: Streamline operations by integrating clinical notes directly into Epic and applying Lean methodology frameworks.
• Champion Staff Resiliency: Serve as a core pillar for healthcare worker resilience, providing emotional and spiritual debriefing following critical workplace incidents.
• Direct ACPE Programs: Lead the annual resident cohort, ensuring full ACPE accreditation compliance and resident mentorship.
• Drive Future Growth: Expand coverage, including volunteer residency pathways for post-acute and skilled nursing facilities.

Requirements: 

• ACPE Certified Educator (CEC)
• Board Certified Chaplain (APC, NACC, NAJC, SCA, or equivalent)
• Master’s Degree in Divinity, Theology, or related field
• Ordained/commissioned by a recognized religious authority
• 5+ years healthcare chaplaincy experience (3+ years in leadership)
