UCSF Health Hyde Hospital

The UCSF Health Hyde & Stanyan Hospitals CPE Program currently has four out of six year-long residency positions open for our 2026-2027 cohort. UCSF Health Hyde and Stanyan Hospitals are community hospitals that work closely with but are separate from the UCSF Medical Center CPE Program.

• Program Dates: August 23, 2026 – September 4, 2027
• Tuition: $1800/year ($200 deposit + $400/unit x 4 units)
• Stipend: $1,128/week (approx. $60k/year) + 15 days PTO
• Health Insurance
• Prerequisite: Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree in theology/divinity/ religious studies or its equivalent in relevant training/experience preferred; Individuals without a Master’s degree or equivalent experience must demonstrate readiness to complete graduate-level work through the successful completion of an initial ACPE CPE unit, or the equivalent as requirement.
