Topic: The Use of Internal Family Systems as a spiritual integrative practice within clinical settings.

Description:

This webinar will focus on the integration of internal family systems methodology in the work of assessment and ongoing care provided by clinical professionals who integrate spiritually into their  practices of care.
Learning Objectives - as a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • describe Internal Family Systems Modality
  • discuss the need to assess both internal and external issues for participants
  • practice the integration of Internal Family Systems into spiritual integrative practices for patients

Continuing Education Credit Available: 1.5 NBCC credit hours (per webinar)

Speakers
  • Carol McGinnis

    Carol ZA McGinnis is a Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapist (SIP) and trainer for ACPE, practices as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board Certified Telemental Health (BC-TMH), and is listed as a state-approved supervisor in the State of Maryland.  She also works full time as Associate Professor and Clinical Mental Health Track Coordinator at Messiah University in their CACREP accredited Graduate Counseling Program.  Since the completion of Carol’s PhD in Pastoral Counseling, her research interests have consistently focused on religious and spiritual implications of anger and online Xbox video gaming which has led to many conference presentations and publications in the counseling field.      

ACPE SIP Training Cancellation Policy

Registrants for ACPE SIP trainings may cancel their registration up to 24 hours before the training begins. There is a $100 cancellation fee. The request for registrant refund must be approved by the SIP trainer.
