Accreditation Updates – November 2025
At the end of October, the Accreditation Commission met in person in Atlanta for our Fall Business meeting and took action to grant continued accreditation to twenty (20) programs that successfully completed 6-year reviews during the second and third quarters of the year. An additional five (5) programs were granted accreditation after successfully completing their review to move from being provisionally accredited to a fully accredited member.
Three (3) programs were granted provisional accreditation, and three (3) programs were granted the addition of CEC CPE. This brings ACPE’s accredited program count to 367 programs. Additionally, Chair-Elect Patricia Kelly continues to receive a steady stream of inquiries from new programs seeking to become Pre-Provisionally Accredited through ACPE.
Committee Action Reports (CARs) for all actions taken by the commission during this meeting have been sent to the relevant programs via email and uploaded to each program’s Accreditation portfolio in the folder entitled “Archived Accreditation Records.”
As some of you are aware, the commission has been operating with three commissioner vacancies for many months. Please be sure to cast your vote for your colleagues on the ballot during the leadership elections later this month. In the meantime, all of our current commissioners have offered to extend an invitation to programs currently without a commissioner to join their monthly cohort meetings for consultation and support. More details on that to come!
