Primary Function/General Purpose of Position:

This one-year residency allows for position to engage in Clinical Pastoral Education in accordance with the standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education and the US Conference of Catholic Bishops Commission on Certification and Accreditation. Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, their families, visitors, and staff. Work collaboratively with the Department of Pastoral Care staff and participate in department activities and events. Provide on-call pastoral care coverage on a rotating basis.

  • Performs other job duties and responsibilities as required.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent and a background in theology required.

Master of Divinity preferred. One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education preferred.
