Dear Colleagues,

In recent weeks, the Accreditation Commission had the opportunity to meet with members of the Recognition Task Force and ACPE’s Board of Directors to provide input on the forthcoming proposal for a redesigned ACPE accreditation model. Looking ahead to a continued period of transition, in 2026, we will only schedule site reviews for those programs that were originally due in 2025 and opted to postpone their reviews as part of the accreditation “pause”.  For programs originally scheduled for review in 2026, please note that further directions will be provided in early December 2025.

Here are additional details for Site Reviews in 2026:

• Site reviews will only be scheduled for the programs that were originally due in 2025 and opted to postpone (see full list of programs below).
• An email will go out to these programs asking them to select their preferred month for their site review. Programs will have until December 31^st to respond. Programs that do not respond by this date will be assigned a month for their review.
• Site visits will be scheduled between April and October 2026. Only 2-3 site visits will be scheduled each month.
