ACPE extends our heartfelt support to those impacted by the devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country. As the death toll continues to climb beyond 130 lives lost, we are holding all affected communities in our thoughts and extending our deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones.

To those providing spiritual care in hospitals, emergency shelters, and community centers across Central Texas, we offer our support as you navigate the challenging path ahead.

We also stand in solidarity with Chaplain Imam Ayman Soliman, who is currently held in ICE custody after his asylum status was revoked. Imam Soliman served faithfully as a chaplain at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, offering spiritual care to children and families during their most vulnerable times. As an organization dedicated to training spiritual care professionals from all faith and cultural traditions, during these times of crisis and injustice, we hold fast to the importance of standing together as a community, supporting those who suffer, defending those who are vulnerable, and affirming the dignity of all people.
