Staff Transitions

ACPE is bidding farewell to two cherished members of our team.

ACPE Director of Finance Jennifer Rochner’s last day was Friday, January 26th, and Rachel Starmer, our Psychotherapy Coordinator, will end her contract with us at the end of January.

Jennifer and Rachel have played integral roles in keeping ACPE current amidst a wave of transition and change. Their dedication, hard work, and passion have not only contributed to our achievements but have also left a lasting impact on their colleagues.

“I have enjoyed working with Jennifer during my time as ACPE Treasurer,” said Jonathan Ball. “She has been a key partner during our annual budget season, a valued resource during our annual audit,  and has streamlined our billing process. She will be missed.” Over the past five years, Jennifer has professionalized our finance department and helped us to develop stronger tools for forecasting and financial management. She was instrumental in facilitating the PPP loans during the pandemic and ensuring smooth operations throughout that time.

“Already, 2024 has started well with promises of many changes and I am excited to be a part of the positive direction that the Psychotherapy Commission is moving in," said Carol McGinnis, ACPE Psychotherapy Commission Chair.  "One difficult change is the fact that Racher Starmer will be leaving us at the end of January,” she continued.  “Rachel has helped us in exponential ways to find order in chaos, to streamline needed processes, and to build bridges of understanding where they were sorely needed.  She leaves us with big shoes to fill and many new roads to travel.”

Please join us in sending well wishes to Jennifer and Rachel and thanking them for their contributions over the years. As we say our goodbyes and regroup, we ask that you also be patient with the ACPE staff team as they work diligently to keep up with the expanding workload. We are in the process of interviewing additional staff and look forward to welcoming new faces to our team.
