Beth looking at camera smilingThere’s a local car dealership in Philadelphia that always ends its television ads with the owner of the dealership saying, “I’ve always been your dealer, even if you didn’t know it.” It may seem weirdly disjointed to summon a car dealer slogan for my inaugural newsletter entry as the new chair of the Psychotherapy Commission, but this slogan uniquely captures my sincere wish and desire: ACPE is your home for spiritually integrative psychotherapy. ACPE's Psychotherapy Commission wants to make sure you and other professionals in our field know it.

In that spirit, I am pleased to announce the launch of our 2022 Psychotherapy Webinar Series. All webinars are FREE to ACPE members and only $20 for non-members and include 1.5 hours of NBCC continuing education credit. The series kicks off on Friday, March 25with Lisa Miller, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology and Education at Columbia University, founder of the Spirituality, Mind Body Institute and author of The Awakened Brain: Implications of the Science of Spirituality for Clinical Practice. To register or get more information on this and other upcoming webinars, please click here.

I hope that through high-quality programming like this new webinar series, the professional lives of our members will be enriched and that ACPE will continue to solidify its role as the international leader in spiritual care and spiritually integrative psychotherapy.

Remember, ACPE has always been your home for spiritual care and spiritually integrative psychotherapy, even if you didn’t know it.

Sincerely,

Beth Toler, Chair, Psychotherapy Commission
