Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center (Toledo, OH) has an exciting opportunity for CPE Residents to join its dedicated Spiritual Care team.
MHSVMC is a Level I Trauma and teaching center, offering tertiary level care to the Toledo region. Since its founding in 1855, the hospital has been a leader in northwest Ohio, providing high quality medical care and education with a particular mission to serve those who are poor, dying, or underserved.
CPE Residents gain experience in emergency / trauma care, critical care, staff support, and advance care planning.
Residency Program: August 24, 2026 – September 3, 2027
- Full time with paid time off
- Competitive stipend of $41,340.00 plus weekend and shift differentials

- 3 units of CPE
Cost:
- $25 application fee
- $100 deposit after acceptance, applied towards tuition
- Possibly opportunity for waived tuition costs
Qualifications:
- One prior unit of ACPE CPE (required)
- Master’s degree in theology or related field (preferred)
