Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc. (HOSC) is seeking Chaplains to join our Spiritual Care Team.

As a Spiritual Care Chaplain, you’ll offer more than comfort — you’ll offer meaning, connection, and peace during some of life’s most sacred moments.

Our organization currently has a full-time and a part-time opportunity available.

The full-time Chaplain is a field position that will provide direct spiritual care to patients and their families located within Sullivan County and adjacent areas of Orange County. The role also requires the ability to share weekend coverage on a rotating basis.

The part-time weekend Chaplain position will provide support to the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence (KFHR) located in Newburgh and will also meet the emergent spiritual needs of patients and families throughout Orange and Sullivan Counties. In addition to weekends, the part-time Chaplain may be called on provide coverage on holidays and to meet other staffing needs during the week.

The Chaplain is an integral member of the interdisciplinary hospice care team providing compassionate spiritual and emotional support to patients and their loved ones. Through comprehensive spiritual assessments and individualized care planning, the Chaplain helps patients and their loved ones find peace, meaning, and comfort in accordance with their spiritual or religious beliefs and goals.
