BayCare CPE Program, located in the scenic Tampa Bay Clearwater area, is the leading, not-for-profit health care system in the Tampa Bay and West Central Florida Regions.

Residency 2026 ■

Five residency positions are available at BayCare. Clinical locations are available at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven and Wesley Chapel Hospital, Wesley Chapel. Residencies run September 14, 2026, to August 22, 2027. Prerequisites: one unit of CPE, a graduate degree in theology or a related field, and a Faith Group reference. Non-refundable application fee: $30 (payable to BayCare CPE). A non-refundable $100 deposit is required upon acceptance into the program. The $675 year tuition is waived! Stipend: $41,579 plus benefits – 8 homework hours paid! These hours are distributed differently in each clinical site.
