Agency / Denomination / Faith Group Membership Application

Membership is available to Agencies, Denominations, and other Faith Groups upon request and with the approval of the Board of Directors. Membership in ACPE is open to organizations whose purpose is to enhance the mission and vision of ACPE.

Applications are reviewed at the bi-annual meeting of the Board of Directors in the spring and fall. The board follows a dialogical process that seeks to determine the compatibility of your institution’s mission and vision with that of the ACPE. Membership dues are $200 annually and will be invoiced the following year.

Please attach: a copy of your articles of incorporation, bylaws or governance manual, your mission/vision statement; an organizational chart; a list of accrediting or credentialing bodies with which your organization is affiliated; a description of the requirements and process if you are a credentialing agency; and an explanation of the value of ACPE membership to your organization. Please attach any other information that would help determine your affirmation and interest in the mission of ACPE.

Please attach: A clear endorsing/accountability process or office or agent or agency. A clear spiritual or theological tenet and a standard of practice in the larger faith group community. A constituency in which there is a form of communal spiritual expression. The process of designating persons as faith group leaders or clergy. An accountability structure that is clearly written, adopted by the religious /spiritual organization and has more than one level of accountability. Their willingness to support the mission, vision, and values of ACPE.
