The Living Web of Socio-Spirituality is an integrative model that blends pastoral theology, relational systemic therapy, and narrative practice. It recognizes the need to connect social justice to spirituality as a robust foundation for psychotherapy.

Speaker Bio

Suzanne Coyle is an Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology and Marriage and Family Therapy at Christian Theological Seminary where she directs the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, a COAMFTE accredited program. She holds a Ph.D. in Pastoral Theology and Communications from Princeton Theological Seminary. Coyle's clinical training was completed at Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York. In addition, she has extensive training in narrative therapy from the Dulwich Center in Australia, the Vancouver School of Narrative Therapy, and the Evanston Family Therapy Center. Dr. Coyle is the author of numerous book chapters, peer-reviewed articles, and books. Her most recent is Spirituality in Systemic Family Therapy Supervision and Training which is a book in the Focused Issues in Family Therapy series in SpringerNature. She maintains a private therapy practice and has presented both nationally and internationally.
