Carol T. Smith, MMFT, MDiv, LMFT, will be offering ACPE’s Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP) training for mental health practitioners. ACPE’s SIP training is a 30-hour series of workshops designed to help therapists develop greater competence and confidence in working with spirituality as part of psychotherapy.

The training will be offered by Zoom starting on November 9, 2020. The first 27 hours of the training will be offered via Zoom. The final three hours happen in small groups of three, at dates to be determined by participants.

The workshops are approved for 30 hours of NBCC continuing education credit. Cost for the 30 hours is $500. For more information about this training or for the registration link, email Carol Smith at carol@insightcenters.org

There are currently 23 ACPE SIP Trainers in locations across the country. The SIP Program is designed to develop local SIP Communities of Practice, and even online trainings are limited to persons in the geographic vicinity of the trainer.

Who Should Attend
The SIP Training is for licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals: counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, pastoral counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, addictions specialists, and others.

This training is open to mental health practitioners and graduate students in and near Nashville, Tennessee. The training will be offered by Zoom. Cost is $500. Limited scholarships are available.
