Making Visible: Demystifying the Certification Process
Calling all Certified Educator Candidates accepted into the Certification Process! Join us for this complimentary pre-conference gathering designed just for you, hosted by the ACPE Certification Commission.
Sunday May 21 - Monday May 22
Network and build relationships with other CECs in the process and listen to presentations from the Certification Commission on demystifying the certification process and best practices. This pre-conference event will also feature opportunities on how to get involved with leadership and a general introduction to ACPE.
During this pre-conference event, CECs will:
· Get to know each other and build community
· Learn more about navigating the certification process
· Get to know the Certification Commission Reviewer (CCR) and Theory Integration Mentor (TIM) role(s)
· Experience the best that CPE has to offer
· Learn how to attend and navigate the conference
The Certification Commission is excited to offer this new and valuable event and hopes it will be the perfect outlet for CECs to build community and learn from one another.
CEC Program Subsidy
In an effort to create and build community among our CECs, ACPE has allocated funds to support the participation of CECs in the ACPE Conference and the special CEC pre-program. As we have a finite amount of funding available and in order to ensure that we are able to support as many persons as possible, these funds are designed to subsidize both the contributions of the CEC’s program/institution and the individual CEC. For priority consideration of subsidy funds, please complete this application by February 28, 2023. Applications received after this date will only be considered if there are funds remaining.
How to Register
You may sign up for this pre-conference event by registering for the ACPE Annual Conference on line. However, Annual Conference Registration is not required to join this special pre-conference programming for CEC’s. In order to register only for this pre-conference, please contact events@acpe.edu for assistance.
