UAB Medicine seeks a Director of Spiritual Care and Clinical Pastoral Education. The Director of Spiritual Care and CPE share in the supervision of staff with the Sr. Director and represents the department on various initiatives as needed and assigned throughout UAB Medicine. Develop, coordinate and implement the Clinical Pastoral Education curriculum. Ensure that all aspects of the education program offerings comply with standards of the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) regulatory requirements. Develop, conduct, and participate in educational experiences for faith communities, community, and staff. Provide spiritual care services to patients, families, employees, and visitors.

Requirements:

Master of Divinity or equivalent and one (1) year experience with educating CPE interns and/or Residents required. Currently certified as an Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) Educator required. Faith community ordination, endorsement, or equivalency, such as a letter of authorization.
