Summary:

Assume the responsibility of a partnership with the interdisciplinary team to assist with faith and spirituality issues in the healing process, fostering a bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach to cure. Provides crisis intervention, loss and transition support.

Serving patients across the hospital system, but primary location in Behavioral Health.

Formal Education Required:

• Graduate degree in Master of Divinity, Master of Theology or Master of Pastoral Counseling or Master of Arts in Religion. Accreditation from ATS Graduate school preferred.
• Successful completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education

Experience & Training Required:

• Ordination or commissioning from an authorized ecclesiastical body
• Certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains or National Association of Catholic Chaplains preferred. Eligible to sit for certification within two years.
