Recognition/Reciprocity

Mutual Recognition of Student Units

There are agreements between ACPE and CAPPE (Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education) and between ACPE and NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains) which recognize the student units of the other organization.

Reciprocity of Supervisors

Currently there is a reciprocity agreement between ACPE and CAPPE for the recognition of each others’ certification of supervisors. NACC Supervisors may supervise in ACPE programs under certain conditions. Please request details from the Associate Director at deryck@acpe.edu.
